The Cabbagetown Short Film & Video Festival moves to a new larger location this year at Daniels Spectrum. 13 short films will be showcased on Sept. 9th. and tickets are only $15.  Only a few tickets will be available at the box office doors starting at 7pm.

St James Town Festival

If you are already planning to attend the Cabbagetown Festival be sure to also visit our neighbouring St. James Town Festival on Saturday Sept 12th 1pm – 7pm. This independant event features raffles, giveaways, sports & games, a food bazaar, community info booths and music and dance for all ages.

Cabbagetown Theatre at the Festival

The Cabbagetown Theatre Company presents the “we-take-liberties-with-all-kinds-of-fairy-tales” production of Goldilocks: Beyond The Bears – a panto-style comedy for all ages. Performances are at the Necropolis Chapel, 200 Winchester St., across from Riverdale Farm. Shows run 30 minutes and take place at 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm,3pm & 4pm on Sat, Sept 12th & Sun Sept 13th.
Tickets are $5 and are available at the door.

Every year Cabbagetown Pet Clinic helps raise money for The Farley Foundation. This year prize is one full year’s supply of cat or dog food.  Please help them hit their goal by donating what you can! Tickets are 1 for $10 or 3 for $25

PhD Talks Lecture Series

Paths to Vitality & Society for Osteopathic Wellness are hosting an informative session on Maternal-Fetal Immune Interactions. At this session you will learn about the maternal-fetal relationship and how the immune system plays a major role in gestation.
