CCDT Welcomes 3 Choreographers and Some New Works

Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre, 509 Parliament Street, 419-924-5657

This spring, CCDT is thrilled to welcome three choreographers to their studios who will be featured in their upcoming production of “Light Years.” New York’s Nicole Caruana (UANA Dans) is currently in residence crafting a new work on an ensemble of six dancers, while Toronto-born, NYC-based Jennifer Archibald (Arch Dance Company) arrives in late March for an intensive 3-day creation period. These new works will debut alongside the CCDT premiere of “Less”, an emotional and physical reflection on gender expectation choreographed by Ryan Lee and danced by an all-male trio. We are thrilled to have Nicole, Jennifer, and Ryan sharing their artistry with our dancers and the community this season!
“Light Years” runs May 24-25 at The Fleck Dance Theatre.
