Cabbagetown Parkscape

The Cabbagetown BIA initiated a summer long installation along Parliament Street. #CabbagetownParkscape was an immersive public realm project designed and created as part of the Living Streets Program by Bienenstock Natural Playgrounds, with the support of the City of Toronto through former Councillor and MPP Kristyn Wong-Tam. This unique connection to nature on Cabbagetown’s main streets provided vital support to its businesses in post-pandemic recovery. Many thanks to our generous project sponsors, Fitzrovia and Centrecourt.

Holiday in The Patch

Live music, tree lighting at dusk, activities for the kids, hot drinks, treats, and more. Oh, and the big man himself; Santa was there too!

Thank you to everyone who came out again and helped make Holiday in the Patch a huge success!

Remembrance Day Gathering

The Cabbagetown BIA has traditionally held an annual local Remembrance Day gathering at the north-east corner of Carlton St and Parliament St. in hopes this ceremony gives locals an accessible opportunity to mark the significant day, and honour Canadian soldiers both past and present.

The ceremony includes a live trumpeter, a recitation of In Flanders Fields, and a 2 minute moment of silence. ⁣
