Since then she has owned and operated her own businesses for 20 plus years throughout the GTA, and currently runs Cabbagetown's friendly cannabis dispensary, Spiritleaf, on Carlton St. In addition to her role on the BIA, she has regularly given back to the community through local events for all ages in front of the store and in the store's private event space for those over 19. In all her business endeavors, Rouma has always maintained a strong focus on giving back to the communities where she has worked and lived.
