Members: Get Involved with Easter in the Patch!
BUSINESS MEMBERS SIGN UP TO PARTICIPATE:
Happy Spring! As the weather is getting warmer and the days are getting longer, we would like to invite friends and families, visitors and tourists to discover and rediscover our vibrant neighbourhood.
With that in mind and with your help, we are launching our two-fold campaign:
Community Egg Painting Competition: Upon confirmation of your participation, we will deliver ~three (3) Egg Painting Kits to be distributed to patrons who would like to participate in the completion, potentially encouraging new customers to discover your store. After customers finish painting their eggs, they need to upload a photo on Instagram using the hashtag #CabbagetownEggPainting for the chance to win a cash prize (TBD). The Competition will run from Saturday, April 1 to Saturday, April 8, 2023.
BIA Egg Hunt Competition: Upon confirmation of your participation, we will deliver a basket of easter eggs to be placed in your store on Saturday, April 8. Participants will have a map guiding them to participating stores without telling them which ones (prompting them to visit as many stores as possible). The Eggs will have the Cabbagetown BIA logo stockers on them - participants will upload a photo of all their eggs on Instagram using the #CabbagetownEggHunt. Whoever hunts down the most eggs will win a prize!
Complete this form to capitalize on the increase in foot traffic! The more you do, the more successful you'll be! You may even want to run your own activities, events, and specials throughout Easter Saturday for these new patrons!

We are asking for in-kind donations as Sponsors from BIA members for the competitions. If you are interested in sponsoring a prize, in-kind contribution, or store gift card (minimum prize value $50 or more), please let us know in the participation form!*
Sponsors will get brand visibility via social media, our digital marketing materials, as well as a mention in our official press release to the media.
*Donation offers/sponsorship requests are subject to approval by event organizers.
